What Information Should You Include on Branded Pens?

Aside Posted on

Let’s start by trying something out. Look in your pencil case or on your desk.or wherever you keep pens. I bet you will be able to find a branded promotional pen somewhere, right? And I bet you don’t remember where you got it from do you?
Pens have an average of eight owners before they finally reach the end of their lifespan. This means that by distributing one thousand branded pens, your brand name is seen by around eight thousand people. This is an incredible rate of return for an item which is very cheap and which is only given to one person. We all love having pens, but rarely do people find themselves attached to a biro. This means that we often end up unintentionally giving pens to other people or leaving them places. If you are anything like me then you will not have bought a pen for years. Instead, many people seem to simply ‘inherit’ pens from various places.
Branded pens can be an extraordinarily good form of marketing and a great way to get your brand name remembered by thousands of people. However in order to convert this into sales and hopefully see a return, it is important for you to carefully consider what information you include on the pen. The pens are themselves a very valuable marketing asset but by choosing the right information to display on a small space you can significantly increase the chances of people making a purchase from your company.
The first thing to do is consider exactly how much space is available to you. There is not a lot of room on any pen so it is crucial to be as concise as possible with the information included. As suggested by the name, one of the most important things to include on branded pens is your brand. Ensure that your company name and logo are on the pen otherwise they are basically useless! If your logo is big, you might want to consider just including your company name. However do attempt to include the logo if space permits.
Secondly, you are advised not to include a telephone number. Instead, put your company website down, particularly if you think that the website is well made. People wanting to know more about your company or about a product will not want to have to ring someone to discuss this. By including a website you allow the pen user to explore what you can offer them at their own pace. More importantly, if the customer can directly buy products from the website, it puts the pen owner in direct connection with the location of purchase, increasing the chances of converting website hits into sales.
Try not to include much more information than this. The more simple the design is, the better it will look. On such a small space, it is important not to make the design look too busy and to make it look chic. Brand and website is probably all the information you need.

Two Big Steps Before You Train Others to Teach Your Proprietary System

Aside Posted on

As you work to grow your business, there are many options available to attract clients along the way. One thing that may tempt you is the idea of licensing your proprietary system and/or training coaches or trainers to teach it to others. This can be a lucrative revenue stream but first I recommend you follow these steps before moving into that arena.
Step #1: Fill Your Own Practice. When you are working to attract clients and fill your practice, everything else that doesn’t focus on this goal is a distraction. Your first priority is to fill your own practice to build a strong business. So you network, run free teleclasses, offer your IFO, etc., all designed to fill your practice to capacity.
As I often say, the fastest path to cash is with individual coaching clients. Many people want to run groups or teleclasses before they have a full practice, but unfortunately this often doesn’t work. You need to have a big list to market to before you can start groups that will garner the kind of success you hope to achieve.
Step #2 Create Groups. Once your practice is filled and you have a waiting list, that’s when you are ready for the next step. Now you can start creating groups, boot camps, seminars, and masterminds and attract clients like crazy. This phase can last for several years and you’ll make very good money helping lots of yummy people get really great results.
Working with groups gives you the opportunity to reach so many more people. Group work is very productive and also more affordable to those who participate than individual coaching. This is when you make your work more accessible and you start to leverage your business.
Step #3: Certify Other Coaches and/or Trainers. Once you get to the point where you can no longer satisfy the demand for groups, then it’s time to consider licensing your proprietary system or training other trainers or coaches in your method. You will have a very successful business that is ready to expand to the next level.
Don’t Create Your Own Competition.
If you try to train other coaches or license your system before you have a solid foundation and strong business, all you really end up doing is creating competition for yourself who will make it harder to attract clients and fill your practice. Yes, you’ll generate revenue but you’ll also expose your practice to other people who now know how to do exactly what you do.
Don’t take your eye off the ball. Stay focused on completely filling your practice. There is nothing more important. Attract clients, make money, keep the pipeline full and close sales – that’s what you want to work on.
Your Assignment:
How is filling your pipeline going? Are you continually getting new prospects lined up, closing sales and bringing on new clients? Make that your main objective and let go of anything that distracts you from this goal.

FA cup: Arsenal claim 1st trophy in nine years

Posted on Updated on

An extra-time goal from Aaron Ramsey saw Arsenal come from two-goals down to beat Hull City 3-2 in a scintillating FA Cup final.
That came after a remarkable opening to the game which saw Hull race into a two-goal lead within nine-minutes.
James Chester side-footed home from a Tom Huddlestone drive before captain Curtis Davies fired into the net from an acute angle after Alex Bruce’s header had hit the post.
Arsenal did not have to wait too long to get back into the game as on 17-minutes Santi Cazorla curled home a superb free-kick from 30-yards.
Hull looked like they might just hold out but with 19-minutes left they failed to deal with a corner and Laurent Koscielny turned and levelled from inside the six-yard box.
But then with penalties just 11-minutes away – Arsenal broke Hull hearts as Ramsey fired home low past Allan McGregor after great work from Olivier Giroud.
The win ends Arsenal’s own trophy drought as they claimed their first silverware in nine years.
